"Clockwork was amazing! They played at my daughter's wedding in the State Room in Boston. They really read the crowd and responded to what they wanted. Everyone was up dancing and singing with them. They played "Sweet Caroline" and had everyone sing along and then they called Caroline, a junior bridesmaid, up to sing with them. It was really fun. We supplied funny hats and light up glasses and the crowd was dancing and singing along with the band. All ages were up dancing to all the music. Everyone said the band was fabulous ! They played Shout last and it was a great way to end a great night. I would definitely recommend this band for any occasion. They make the event fun."

"Clockwork Boston performed at our son’s wedding held on June 14th at Granite Links Country Club. We had read all their reviews and were well aware of the popularity of this band. Our expectations were high and the band far exceeded what we hoped would be a wonderful musical performance at the reception. Clockwork is not only musically and vocally amazing but the performance and entertainment was flawless as well as Ron Barth’s serving as Master of Ceremonies.
Clockwork’s sound quality was concert worthy and offered the right mix of volume and song selection at dinner followed by a high energy post dinner dancing performance that left it hard to find many of our 200 guests sitting at their tables. Days after the reception our family and friends had only wonderful things to say about the music and reception as Clockwork really delivered. We are already looking forward to their performance at another family members wedding in the spring of 2015. "

"Clockwork is a dance band without equal. We found them a year in advance online, via WeddingWire - very glad we booked them early, as they would not have been available later. My daughter's wedding was outdoors, north shore of Boston, in a tent, with 150 attending. Clockwork was about seven musicians, including two singers - male and female. They played multiple sets, and Ron played classical keyboard music for the preceremony, and also took care of band break playsets, and coordinated the precessional and cocktail hour iPod playlists we provided. Everything rolled perfectly. More importantly - the dance floor was filled and jumping, from their first song to the last number - a stellar version of "Shout." We got numerous comments on how terrific the band was. Clockwork is high energy, and knows how to get and keep the dance floor going. They play multiple styles - can recreate the sound of the original song they are covering, but give it plenty of muscle, soul, swing - their own twist, for the crowd's taste. They learned a couple new songs, including Springsteen tunes (the groom was from Jersey...). Singers were fantastic. Could not have imagined any band being better. Also - Ron is an excellent MC - does the introductions, no phoniness, hands the mike off, keeps it rolling. (And pronounced all names correctly, always a plus.)
My suggestions are:
1. Book early! These guys are really good - you snooze, you lose.
2. They are probably at their best with a good sized event, and a large enough dance floor to generate some real heat.
3. Ron is easy to work with - particularly if you're organized yourself. He'll help you lay out the evening - where music is needed or not (e.g., he correctly said that we should go with our own choices of prerecorded music for the cocktail hour - using the band is overkill). But do your part - what songs do you not want to hear, what songs to be added if possible not already on their playlist.
Overall: couldn't be happier. "
